What are we supposed to make?
The Football Fan Scarf, by Kamaca Champion. Each week, you crochet or knit a measured block of fabric based on your team’s game results.
I don’t live near Miss Purl, can I participate?
Yes! This is a hybrid activity. You can cast-on remotely or with your favorite LYS or knitting group.
Throughout the season Miss Purl will host in-person and virtual activities for fun and fellowship.
How much does this cost?
The cost of the pattern. Miss Purl does have kits available, which include the pattern.
Are there prizes?
There are always prizes when you make-a-long with Miss Purl (wink)
Crochet or Knit?
There are pattern options for crochet and knit this year!
Do I have to make-a-long to the Chicago Bears season? Can I choose my own team?

Season Schedule
This table outlines the weekly rhythm of the Football Fan Scarf Make-Along, including game dates, times, and our Monday and Wednesday programming. Each week, participants will receive a Monday Swatch Prompt based on the Chicago Bears game outcome, followed by a Wednesday Check-In for reflection, progress sharing, and optional tutorials. For Monday night games, we’ll check in during halftime.
Registered participants will also receive a logon invitation to Miss Purl’s online Team Room, where you can connect with your assigned teammate, share your scarf progress, and join virtual hangouts throughout the season.
